West Lafayette: March 28-30th at Purdue University, the 2nd Annual Midwest Regional Sustainable Conference hosted by U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) Students with the help of USGBC Students - Purdue University and the USGBC Indiana Chapter. This conference is themed “Lead/LEED, the Next Generation” and will offer speakers on a variety of topics for sustainable leadership and related to LEEDv4 and beyond. All presentations and workshops will occur on Saturday March 29th, while other sustainable related activities will occur on the evening Friday March 28th and Sunday morning on March 30th. It will include a variety of activities including a sustainable campus tour, networking opportunities and a dinner presentation followed by dancing.
This conference is open to anyone interested in sustainable topics. Early bird discount tickets for USGBC Student Members and Faculty, EPs and USGBC Professional Members of $35 prior to February 28th, while student & faculty who are non-members early bird pricing of $50.
Sunday from 8am-4:30pm, an all-day LEED GA Study Session will be put on by Brendan Owens, USGBC's vice-president of LEED Technical Development. This is an additional cost but will include lunch, seats are limited. You may register for the LEED GA Study Session through the separate event listed on this website.
